IQOS TEREA Dimension Yugen Indonesian

Dimension Yugen is the floral stick in the range, part of the Dimension series that sits apart from the standard TEREA line-up. Delicate, fruity, and unlike anything else on this page.

Floral, which is rare here

A light floral note runs over soft fruit, with the tobacco kept well back. The Dimension series is built around aroma rather than tobacco strength, and this is the clearest example of that.

It is a quiet stick. If you smoke heavily, it will not satisfy. If you want something delicate in the evening, it is the most interesting thing in the Indonesian range.

Nothing else compares directly

Within Indonesia, Apricity is the other unusual variant, though it goes to clove warmth rather than floral lightness. The standard fruit sticks like Golden Edition are considerably heavier.

Japan's Sun Pearl has a faint floral edge and is the nearest thing in another market, but it is a capsule stick and drier.

Who this suits

Light and occasional smokers who want something delicate rather than strong. If you're used to a full-strength cigarette and want a like-for-like replacement, this is not the starting point. Regular or one of the roasted Ambers sits closer to that.

Device compatibility

Your device needs an induction coil for TEREA Dimension Yugen Indonesian. ILUMA and ILUMA i, yes. Blade-heated IQOS, no. There is no adapter that bridges the two, whatever you may have been told.

Using it, start to finish

Insert one stick into the ILUMA holder, wait for the ready signal, then draw. A session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first. Pacing the draw is what gets the full session out of it.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• Genuinely unique in the whole catalogue, floral and aroma-led rather than built around tobacco strength
• The most interesting light, delicate option in the Indonesian range

Cons:

• Too quiet for heavy smokers
• Not a substitute if you want a full-strength cigarette replacement, Regular or an Amber suits that better
