TEREA Mulint Edition Indonesia

Mulint is the sharpest menthol in the Indonesian range and the one regulars reach for when they want cooling with nothing sweet attached. Straight menthol, no fruit, no capsule.

The cold end of the range

This is where Indonesian TEREA goes against its own house style. Most variants here run sweet and full; Mulint is dry and cold, closer in character to the Japanese menthols than to its neighbours on this page.

The tobacco base is still Indonesian, so there is body underneath, but the menthol dominates from the first puff and holds to the last.

Mulint or Blue?

Blue is the moderate menthol here, rounder and warmer. Mulint is considerably sharper. If Blue has stopped registering, this is the step up.

From Japan, Black Menthol is the nearest in intensity, though it pairs the cold with a much darker tobacco base.

Who this suits

Menthol regulars who find Blue or Green too gentle and want maximum cooling with no fruit or sweetness diluting it.

Device compatibility

Blade-heated holders like the 3 DUO cannot produce the heat MULINT Edition runs on. You need an ILUMA, an ILUMA i, or a Lambda i8. The distinction explained.

Storage and freshness

Keep packs out of direct heat and sunlight, same as any TEREA stick. The flavour holds fine at room temperature but degrades faster in a hot car or on a windowsill. A sealed pack easily outlasts the time it takes to work through it.

Using it, start to finish

Insert one stick into the ILUMA holder, wait for the ready signal, then draw. A session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first. Pacing the draw is what gets the full session out of it.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• The coldest, purest menthol in the entire Indonesian range
• No sweetness diluting the cooling, the clear choice for menthol purists

Cons:

• Goes directly against the sweeter Indonesian house style, not representative of the rest of this range
