IQOS TEREA Bronze Indonesian

Bronze layers cocoa and dried fruit over the Indonesian tobacco base. Warm, slightly sweet, and one of the easier full-bodied sticks to smoke through a long evening without the palate tiring.

Cocoa first, fruit underneath

The cocoa arrives early and reads as dark chocolate rather than anything milky. Behind it, dried fruit adds a raisin-like sweetness that keeps the whole thing from turning bitter.

Because the sweetness is dried rather than fresh, it never becomes sugary. That distinction is what separates Bronze from the fruit-menthol sticks elsewhere in the range.

Bronze or Sienna?

These two cover the full-bodied non-menthol end of the Indonesian range. Sienna is dry and woody with no sweetness. Bronze is warmer and rounder. If you want a plain tobacco stick, Sienna. If you want a tobacco stick with something happening, Bronze.

Coming from Japan? Ruby Regular is the nearest equivalent there, using coffee and spice where Bronze uses cocoa and fruit. Bronze is also stocked from Switzerland, at a higher price point.

Device compatibility

Built for induction heating. In practice: the ILUMA range, the ILUMA i range and the Lambda i8. Not the 3 DUO, not the 2.4, not any holder with a blade in it. Guide here.

Storage and freshness

Keep packs out of direct heat and sunlight, same as any TEREA stick. The flavour holds fine at room temperature but degrades faster in a hot car or on a windowsill. A sealed pack easily outlasts the time it takes to work through it.

Using it, start to finish

Insert one stick into the ILUMA holder, wait for the ready signal, then draw. A session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first. Pacing the draw is what gets the full session out of it.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• Dried-fruit sweetness rather than sugary, never turns cloying across a long evening
• The cheaper of the two regions we stock this flavour from (120 AED here vs 160 from Switzerland)

Cons:

• Ties you to the Indonesian base, the Swiss version is a genuinely different, pricier stick under the same name
