Cocoa first, fruit underneath

The cocoa arrives early and reads as dark chocolate rather than anything milky. Behind it, dried fruit adds a raisin-like sweetness that keeps the whole thing from turning bitter.

Because the sweetness is dried rather than fresh, it never becomes sugary. That distinction is what separates Bronze from the fruit-menthol sticks elsewhere in the range.

Bronze or Sienna?

These two cover the full-bodied non-menthol end of the Indonesian range. Sienna is dry and woody with no sweetness. Bronze is warmer and rounder. If you want a plain tobacco stick, Sienna. If you want a tobacco stick with something happening, Bronze.

Is Bronze a dessert flavour?

No. The cocoa and dried fruit sit inside a tobacco stick rather than on top of it. It is warmer and sweeter than a plain regular, not a sweet stick.

How does Indonesian Bronze differ from other markets?

The Indonesian base is fuller and sweeter throughout, so the cocoa reads rounder here than the same variant does from a European market.
