IQOS TEREA Bright Wave Indonesian

Bright Wave puts green fruit over deep menthol, and it is one of the best warm-weather sticks in the Indonesian range. Tart rather than sweet, with cooling that genuinely cools.

Tart, then cold

Green apple and pear lead, sharp enough to keep the stick from turning sugary the way much of this range does. The menthol behind them is deeper than the Blue or Green variants carry.

It reads bright and clean, which is unusual for Indonesian TEREA and makes this a useful counterweight if the rest of the range has felt heavy.

Where it sits

Black Green is the same fruit and menthol over a dark roasted base, so heavier overall. Blue drops the fruit entirely.

From Japan, Yellow Menthol is the closest in spirit, though it goes citrus rather than green fruit and runs lighter on cooling.

Who this suits

Best for hot-weather smoking or anyone who finds the sweeter Indonesian sticks cloying. This is the tartest, coldest fruit option in the range.

Device compatibility

TEREA Bright Wave Indonesian will not fire in a blade holder. The stick is cut for induction, so it needs an ILUMA, an ILUMA i or a Lambda i8. Anything with a ceramic blade inside takes HEETS instead.

Storage and freshness

Keep packs out of direct heat and sunlight, same as any TEREA stick. The flavour holds fine at room temperature but degrades faster in a hot car or on a windowsill. A sealed pack easily outlasts the time it takes to work through it.

Using it, start to finish

Insert one stick into the ILUMA holder, wait for the ready signal, then draw. A session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first. Pacing the draw is what gets the full session out of it.
