Which sticks fit the IQOS ILUMA i Prime
Every ILUMA heats by SMARTCORE induction: a coil heats a metal element sealed inside each TEREA stick. HEETS have no metal element, so an ILUMA cannot heat them, and TEREA should not go into an older blade-heated IQOS. BLENDS are made for BONDS by IQOS and fit neither.

What the extra money buys
Not more sticks per charge, and not more features than the i Standard. Both give roughly 20 uses from a full pocket charger. Both have the touch screen, which shows preheating, the time left in the stick and how many sticks the holder has left; Pause Mode, which holds a part-smoked stick for up to eight minutes; FlexBattery; and FlexPuff, which adds up to four extra puffs on a slow draw. What the Prime adds is the aluminium body and its premium finish, which look and feel different in the hand. Heating runs at 350 °C on TEREA sticks only.
Who actually needs Pause Mode and FlexBattery
Pause Mode matters most if your sessions get interrupted regularly: eight minutes is enough to come back to a stick that still works instead of a wasted one. FlexBattery's Eco Mode allows one stick per holder charge in exchange for being gentler on the battery, which suits you if you rarely smoke two in a row. If you smoke uninterrupted in one sitting, neither will change your day and the i One is the better value. If you do want them, the i Standard has both for less than the Prime.

The four colours
Midnight Black, Breeze Blue, Garnet Red and Aspen Green share the same specification and price. The aluminium shell resists everyday scuffs well, but it is still a metal surface, so a case is worth having if you want it to stay clean. Who the Prime suits
The Prime suits people who want the ILUMA i features and care how the device looks and feels: the aluminium body and premium finish are what it adds over the i Standard. It is also the one to choose as a gift, or if you simply prefer metal in the hand. If you mainly want Pause Mode and the touch screen, the i Standard gives you both for less. If you smoke a stick start to finish in one sitting, the i One is the cheaper way in.
Eco or Performance in practice
FlexBattery lets you choose how the holder uses its battery. Performance Mode is the default: up to three sticks in a row from the holder, with Pause Mode available. Eco Mode allows one stick per holder charge and switches Pause Mode off, in exchange for being gentler on the battery over its life. Neither changes the taste of the stick, and the roughly 20 uses per full charge is a figure to plan around rather than a promise.
Caring for the aluminium body
The shell resists everyday scuffs well, but a metal surface still marks. Keeping the holder in the charger when you are not using it protects it, a case protects the rest, and a dark finish hides marks better than a light one. Keep it out of direct heat, such as a parked car, the way you would a stick.
What you spend after the device
The Prime costs the most of the i-series, but the sticks are the recurring cost, in packs of 20 and cartons of 200. A flagship device doesn't require flagship-priced sticks: TEREA from Uzbekistan and Indonesia costs roughly half the same flavour from Japan. The region guide shows where the taste really differs.
Sticks to start with
For plain tobacco, Amber is the roasted, woody stick and Silver is the mild one. For a fuller, darker tobacco, look at Sienna, where the three regions differ enough to be worth comparing. For cooling, Turquoise is toasted tobacco with menthol.
The touch screen and Pause Mode, step by step
The touch screen sits on the holder. It shows the preheating status, the time left in the stick and how many sticks the holder has left before it needs the charger. To pause, swipe down across the screen; two vertical lines show when Pause Mode is available, and a vibration confirms it. To resume, swipe up, and the holder reheats for about 20 seconds. A paused stick is limited to 14 puffs in total, before and after the pause.
Authenticity, payment and returns
Every device ships as new, sealed stock and is checked before it leaves us, never opened, repackaged or grey-market. Card, bank transfer and cash on delivery are all accepted, and nothing is charged until the order is confirmed. If a device arrives damaged or wrong, the returns and refunds policy covers it. Delivery takes 40 to 60 minutes across Dubai, Ajman and Sharjah, and the same day or within 24 hours elsewhere in the UAE.

- Is the i Prime worth it over the i Standard?
- Only if you want the aluminium body and premium finish. The i Standard has the same touch screen, Pause Mode, FlexBattery and FlexPuff, the same heating and the same number of sticks per charge, for less.
- What does Pause Mode do?
- It holds a part-smoked stick for up to eight minutes if you're interrupted, so you can come back to it instead of wasting it. Swipe down on the touch screen to pause and up to resume. It works in Performance Mode, within the first three minutes or eight puffs of a stick.
- What is FlexBattery?
- A choice of two battery modes. Performance Mode, the default, gives up to three sticks in a row and allows Pause Mode. Eco Mode gives one stick per holder charge, without Pause Mode, and is gentler on the battery over its life.
- Does the Prime take HEETS?
- No. TEREA sticks only. The Prime heats by induction and has no blade.
- How long does the Prime take to charge?
- About two hours fifteen minutes over USB-C for the pocket charger. Topping up the holder from the charger takes only a couple of minutes.
- Do the four colours differ?
- No. Midnight Black, Breeze Blue, Garnet Red and Aspen Green share the same specification and price.
- Is cash on delivery available for devices?
- Yes. Card, bank transfer and cash on delivery are all accepted, and nothing is charged until the order is confirmed.
