IQOS ILUMA i Prime Breeze Blue

Breeze Blue on the ILUMA i Prime body: aluminium construction, touch screen, the flagship i-series specification at 350 AED.

The Prime specification, in brief

Bladeless induction heating, a touch screen tracking heat and usage, Pause Mode for interrupted sessions and FlexBattery to trade daily runtime for longer overall battery life. The aluminium body gives it noticeably more heft than the plastic i One or i Standard.

Breeze Blue or another Prime colour

Midnight Black is the standard Prime finish. Garnet Red and Aspen Green are the deeper, more distinctive colours in this range. All four share identical heating and battery specs. Colour, and a small price difference between the finishes, is the only variation.

Not sure the Prime's extras justify the price over the i Standard? This guide breaks down what you actually get.

Who the Prime suits

Frequent users who'll actually use Pause Mode and want the touch screen's usage tracking. If neither matters to you, the i Standard heats identically for less.

How to use it, session by session

Charge the pocket charger fully before the first use. After that, slot the holder into the charger between sessions. A holder top-up only takes a couple of minutes, since the pocket charger itself is the slow part, around two hours fifteen minutes from empty over USB-C.

Insert a TEREA stick, wait for the device to signal it's ready, then draw. SMARTCORE brings the stick to 350°C through induction, no blade involved. A session runs six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first; FlexPuff adds up to four more puffs on top of that if you're drawing slowly. If something interrupts you mid-session, Pause Mode holds the stick usable for up to eight minutes before it needs finishing or replacing.

Living with a lighter finish

Breeze Blue is one of the two brighter Prime colours, alongside Midnight Black's plain neutrality. Lighter, glossier finishes tend to show fingerprints and light scuffing sooner than the deeper Garnet Red or Aspen Green tones. A quick wipe after handling keeps it looking new.
