The Purple Wave naming quirk, worth knowing before you order
Purple Wave from Uzbekistan is menthol only, no fruit. The same name from Indonesia, Switzerland, Italy and Kyrgyzstan is a berry-and-menthol blend. It isn't an error, it's genuine regional variation under one name, and it catches people out if they've tried Purple Wave from another origin and expect the same taste. Compare all five Purple Wave regions before ordering if you're not sure which one you had.
Uzbekistan against the other origins
At 125 AED, Uzbekistan undercuts Kyrgyzstan by 10 AED, Switzerland by 35, Italy by 90, and Japan by 85, on flavours that exist under more than one origin. The trade-off is range: 11 flavours against Japan's 17 or Indonesia's 21, and Uzbekistan doesn't carry the five-way Regular split or most of Japan's menthol-fruit blends.
