What the extra money buys

Not more sticks per charge; the Prime manages the same roughly 20 sessions as the i Standard from its 2380 mAh pocket charger. What you get instead is a touch screen showing heat and usage, Pause Mode holding a part-smoked stick for up to eight minutes, and FlexBattery switching between Eco and Performance modes.

Heating runs at 350°C through bladeless SMARTCORE induction, and FlexPuff adds up to four extra puffs on a slow draw, same as every other i-series device.

Prime against the i Standard and i One

Mechanically close to the i Standard, which heats identically for considerably less. The Prime is for people who use the device forty times a week and want it to feel like it. Who actually needs Pause Mode and FlexBattery

Pause Mode matters most if your sessions get interrupted regularly. A call, a meeting, a customer at the counter. Eight minutes is enough to come back to a stick that still works rather than a wasted one. FlexBattery's Performance mode trades a little runtime for faster heat-up, useful if you're often in a hurry between sticks rather than relaxed about timing.

If neither of those describes how you actually smoke, the i Standard gives you the same heating for less money.

How to use it, session by session

Charge the pocket charger fully before the first use. After that, slot the holder into the charger between sessions. A holder top-up only takes a couple of minutes, since the pocket charger itself is the slow part, around two hours fifteen minutes from empty over USB-C.

Insert a TEREA stick, wait for the device to signal it's ready, then draw. SMARTCORE brings the stick to 350°C through induction, no blade involved. A session runs six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first; FlexPuff adds up to four more puffs on top of that if you're drawing slowly. If something interrupts you mid-session, Pause Mode holds the stick usable for up to eight minutes before it needs finishing or replacing.

Choosing between the four Prime colours

Midnight Black is the plainest of the four. The safest choice if you don't want the colour to be a talking point. Breeze Blue reads brighter, while Garnet Red and Aspen Green are the deeper, more muted finishes. All four cost 350 AED, with identical hardware underneath.

Caring for the aluminium body

The aluminium shell resists everyday scuffs well, but it's still a metal surface. A drop onto tile or concrete will mark it more visibly than the plastic i One or i Standard. Wipe with a dry cloth; skip abrasive cleaners on the finish.
