IQOS TEREA Turquoise Menthol Italy

Italian Turquoise pairs toasted tobacco with menthol, keeping the base audible under the cooling. The warmest of the Italian menthols.

Cooling that does not erase the tobacco

The toasting gives the menthol something to sit on. Cooling is moderate rather than sharp, and the finish stays warm, which is unusual for a menthol stick.

Against the Swiss and Kyrgyz Turquoise

Swiss Turquoise adds peppermint and runs colder. Kyrgyz Turquoise is the same idea at 135 AED. All three keep fruit out of it.

For sharper Italian cooling, the Pearl variants carry capsules instead.

Device compatibility

Confirm your device before ordering: TEREA Turquoise Menthol ITALY works in ILUMA and ILUMA i holders alone. On a blade device you want HEETS, or the ILUMA i One to switch across.

Using it, start to finish

Insert one stick into the ILUMA holder, wait for the ready signal, then draw. A session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first. Pacing the draw is what gets the full session out of it.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• Cooling that doesn't erase the tobacco base underneath, unusual for a menthol stick
• A genuinely warmer, gentler menthol if the Swiss version's peppermint edge is too sharp
• The toasting gives the menthol something to sit on instead of tasting hollow

Cons:

• The warmest, least cold of the three Turquoise regions, not the pick for maximum cooling
• No fruit or capsule option, Sun, Oasis or Twilight Pearl if you want fruit alongside the cooling

Storage and freshness

Keep packs out of direct heat and sunlight, same as any TEREA stick. The flavour holds fine at room temperature but degrades faster in a hot car or on a windowsill. A sealed pack easily outlasts the time it takes to work through it.
