IQOS TEREA Silver Italy

Italian Silver is mild tobacco with lightly spiced herbal notes, the gentlest plain stick in the Italian range at 215 AED.

Quiet, with a herbal edge

Restrained tobacco with a faint spice sitting behind it. The Italian base adds a touch more warmth than the Kyrgyz version of the same variant, though both are light.

A natural all-day stick for anyone who smokes heavily and does not want the palate tiring by afternoon.

Silver at three prices

The same variant runs 215 here, 135 from Kyrgyzstan and 125 from Uzbekistan. On a mild plain stick the differences between markets are at their smallest, which makes this the variant where paying Italian prices is hardest to justify.

Worth reading the region comparison before committing to a carton.

Device compatibility

Only an induction coil can heat TEREA Silver Italy. That means the ILUMA family and the Lambda i8, and rules out every blade-based IQOS. Explained here.

Using it, start to finish

Insert one stick into the ILUMA holder, wait for the ready signal, then draw. A session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first. Pacing the draw is what gets the full session out of it.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• The gentlest plain stick in the whole Italian range
• Doesn't tire the palate across a heavy smoking day
• The herbal edge adds a little interest without straying from genuinely mild

Cons:

• The hardest variant to justify the Italian price premium on, markets differ least here
• The Kyrgyz pack (135 AED) is close to the same stick for considerably less
• No fruit or menthol in this specific stick, Turquoise Menthol is the plain-cooling Italian option if that's what you want

Storage and freshness

Keep packs out of direct heat and sunlight, same as any TEREA stick. The flavour holds fine at room temperature but degrades faster in a hot car or on a windowsill. A sealed pack easily outlasts the time it takes to work through it.
