IQOS TEREA Oasis Pearl Menthol Italy

Italian Oasis Pearl carries passionfruit behind a menthol capsule. Tart rather than sweet, which sets it apart from most fruit-capsule sticks. 215 AED.

Tartness is the point

The passionfruit reads sharp rather than sugary, and crushing the capsule adds cooling that plays against it rather than smothering it. The result stays clean through the whole stick.

Oasis across markets

Japanese Oasis is the driest of the three. Indonesian Oasis is ripe and sweet, and cheaper at 130 AED. Italy sits between them, closer to Japan. All three, compared.

Among the Italian Pearls, Sun Pearl is lighter and Twilight darker.

Who this suits

Anyone who likes a fruit capsule stick but finds the usual options too sweet. Passionfruit's natural tartness does the work that added sugar does on most Pearls, which is the whole appeal here.

Device compatibility

TEREA Oasis Pearl Menthol Italy needs induction heating, so an ILUMA or ILUMA i holder, or a Lambda i8. Blade-heated models like the 3 DUO cannot fire it. How to check yours.

Using it, start to finish

Insert one stick, wait for the ready signal, then draw. A session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs. Crush the capsule whenever the second flavour should arrive. Early for cooling from the start, or partway through to get both halves of the stick out of one draw.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• Genuinely tart rather than sweet, a real point of difference among fruit-capsule sticks
• Sits between the dry Japanese and sweet Indonesian versions, useful if neither extreme suits you

Cons:

• Pricier than the Indonesian version (215 vs 130 AED) for a profile that's actually closer to Japan's

Storage and freshness

Keep packs out of direct heat and sunlight, same as any TEREA stick. The flavour holds fine at room temperature but degrades faster in a hot car or on a windowsill. A sealed pack easily outlasts the time it takes to work through it.
