IQOS TEREA Amber Italy

Italian Amber is rounded roasted tobacco with a woody finish, and the closest substitute we stock for the Japanese version. Same variant, European production, 215 AED against 210.

Warmer than the Japanese Amber

The roast is comparable but the finish is softer and slightly rounder. Italian production runs a shade warmer across the board, and on a plain tobacco stick like this it is the clearest place to notice it.

Mid-weight overall. Fuller than Silver, some way short of the darkest sticks in any market.

When to buy Italian over Japanese

Mostly when the Japanese variant is out of stock and you would rather not change flavour profile entirely. The gap is small, and Italian stock is the safest swap on the site for exactly that reason.

If price is the driver rather than availability, Kyrgyz Amber at 135 is the better answer. The region guide lays out the trade.

All four Amber regions, compared

We stock Amber from four markets: Uzbekistan at 125, Kyrgyzstan at 135, Switzerland at 160, and this Italian pack at 215. The full comparison lines all four up with prices and stock in one table, rather than reading four separate product pages.

Device compatibility

TEREA Amber Italy needs induction heating, so an ILUMA or ILUMA i holder, or a Lambda i8. Blade-heated models like the 3 DUO cannot fire it. How to check yours.

Using it, start to finish

Insert one stick into the ILUMA holder, wait for the ready signal, then draw. A session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first. Pacing the draw is what gets the full session out of it.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• The closest available substitute when Japanese Amber is out of stock
• Genuinely comparable roast, just warmer and rounder on the finish

Cons:

• The priciest of the four Amber regions we stock, at 215 AED against 125-160 elsewhere
• That premium buys European production, not a meaningfully different flavour

Storage and freshness

Keep packs out of direct heat and sunlight, same as any TEREA stick. The flavour holds fine at room temperature but degrades faster in a hot car or on a windowsill. A sealed pack easily outlasts the time it takes to work through it.
