IQOS TEREA Turquoise Uzbekistan

Turquoise is toasted tobacco with menthol, the plain cooled stick of the Uzbek range and the cheapest menthol TEREA we carry at 125 AED.

Cooling with the tobacco intact

The toasting keeps a base under the menthol so the stick does not read as pure cold. Cooling is moderate, the finish is warm, and there is no fruit anywhere in it.

Against the other cooled options

Purple Wave here is a straight menthol with no toasting behind it. Zing Wave goes citrus and sharp. All four Turquoise regions, compared.

Kyrgyz Turquoise is the same stick for 20 AED more.

Who this suits

Menthol smokers who want the tobacco base still audible under the cooling, rather than menthol with nothing behind it.

Device compatibility

Check your holder before ordering. TEREA Turquoise Uzbekistan fits the ILUMA family and the Lambda i8, and nothing with a blade in it. Details here.

Using it, start to finish

Insert one stick into the ILUMA holder, wait for the ready signal, then draw. A session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first. Pacing the draw is what gets the full session out of it.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• Tobacco stays audible under the cooling, unlike a pure menthol stick
• The cheapest menthol-with-a-base option we stock
• A calmer, more rounded cooling than the sharper citrus- or fruit-led menthols in this range
• The toasting gives the menthol something real to sit on, rather than tasting hollow

Cons:

• Warmer and less sharp than Purple Wave or Zing Wave here if maximum cold is the actual goal
• Costs 20 AED less than Kyrgyz Turquoise for what's essentially the same stick, so the Kyrgyz version buys little extra

Storage and freshness

Keep packs out of direct heat and sunlight, same as any TEREA stick. The flavour holds fine at room temperature but degrades faster in a hot car or on a windowsill. A sealed pack easily outlasts the time it takes to work through it.
