The one thing to know before ordering Purple Wave
Purple Wave is not the same flavour from every region, and it's the clearest example of genuine regional variation in our whole TEREA range. Uzbekistan's version is menthol only, no fruit at all. Indonesia, Switzerland, Italy and Kyrgyzstan all run a berry-and-menthol blend under the same name. If you've tried Purple Wave once and are reordering expecting the same taste, check which region you had first.
Why the regions genuinely differ here
Most flavour names in our catalogue read as near-identical descriptions with small wording differences between origins. Purple Wave is different: Uzbekistan's product listing describes it simply as "menthol," full stop, while Indonesia calls it "dark forest fruit with menthol," Switzerland "a blend of menthol waves and berry," Italy and Kyrgyzstan both "berry with a menthol wave." That's not four ways of writing the same thing, it's two genuinely different products sharing a name. Nobody knows why Uzbekistan's manufacturing run dropped the fruit note; it's simply how the product ships from that origin.
Choosing which Purple Wave to buy
If you want a straight menthol stick and don't care about berry, Uzbekistan at 125 AED is both the cheapest and the only pure-menthol option. If you want the berry-menthol blend, Indonesia at 120 AED is the cheapest way to get it, with Kyrgyzstan (135), Italy (215) and Switzerland (160) all carrying close variations of the same idea at higher prices. Unless you specifically want to compare the Swiss or Italian take, Indonesia is the sensible default for the fruit version.
Purple Wave against nearby flavours
If Purple Wave's berry-menthol combination appeals but you want something fruitier and less menthol-forward, Twilight Pearl (dark forest fruit with a click capsule, Italy, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan) leans further into fruit with menthol only on demand rather than blended throughout. If you want the menthol without any fruit at all beyond the Uzbekistan Purple Wave, Turquoise (toasted tobacco with menthol, five regions) swaps the berry note for a tobacco base instead.
Storage and how long a pack lasts
Keep packs out of direct heat and sunlight, the same as any TEREA stick. A hot car or a windowsill degrades flavour faster than normal storage at room temperature. A sealed pack of 20 easily outlasts the time it takes to work through it, and a full carton of 200 sticks holds its character for as long as most buyers take to get through it, typically a few weeks to a couple of months depending how often you're smoking.
Pack contents and specifications
| Spec | Detail |

| Session length | about 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first |
| Heating method | induction, no blade |
Authenticity and returns

If a pack arrives damaged or wrong, our returns and refunds policy covers it. Card, bank transfer and cash on delivery are all accepted, and nothing is charged until the order is confirmed.
TEREA Purple Wave questions
- Is Purple Wave the same flavour from every region?
- No. Uzbekistan's is menthol only, with no fruit. Indonesia, Switzerland, Italy and Kyrgyzstan all run a berry-and-menthol blend under the same name. Check which one you've had before ordering again.
- Which region's Purple Wave is cheapest?
- Indonesia at 120 AED for the berry-menthol version, or Uzbekistan at 125 AED for the menthol-only version. Both undercut Kyrgyzstan (135), Switzerland (160) and Italy (215).
- Why does Uzbekistan's Purple Wave have no fruit note?
- We don't have an official explanation beyond how the product ships from that manufacturing origin. It's a consistent, real difference, not a labelling error, confirmed across every unit we've stocked.
- Does Purple Wave work in every IQOS ILUMA device?
- Yes, all five regional versions are induction-heated TEREA, compatible with ILUMA, ILUMA i and ILUMA Prime, or a third-party induction holder. None work in a blade-heated IQOS 3 DUO.
- How much nicotine is in a Purple Wave stick?
- Approximately 0.5 mg per stick, the same across every region, delivering up to 14 puffs over a roughly six-minute session.
- Is cash on delivery available for Purple Wave orders?
- Yes. Card, bank transfer and cash on delivery are all accepted, and nothing is charged until the order is confirmed.
- How many puffs does a Purple Wave stick give?
- Up to 14 puffs over a roughly six-minute session, consistent across every region regardless of which flavour version you order.
- Can I order Purple Wave from more than one region in the same delivery?
- Yes, each region is a separate product listing, so you can order any combination, for example Uzbekistan's menthol-only version alongside Indonesia's berry-menthol version, in one checkout.
- How fast does TEREA Purple Wave arrive in Dubai?
- 40 to 60 minutes across Dubai, Ajman and Sharjah for most orders, same day or within 24 hours elsewhere in the UAE.
- Which Purple Wave is the driest?
- The Swiss one. Indonesian is the sweetest, with Uzbek, Kyrgyz and Italian between them.
- Is the menthol strong?
- It builds through the stick rather than arriving at full strength. Firmer than the Indonesian version because there is less sweetness to soften it.
- Can I see all five regions before I decide?
- Yes, /terea/purple-wave compares Switzerland against Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Italy with live prices.
- Is cash on delivery available?
- Yes. Card, bank transfer and cash on delivery are all accepted, and nothing is charged until the order is confirmed.
- How do I know this is authentic, not counterfeit?
- Every pack ships sealed with its original batch coding intact, never opened, repackaged or grey-market stock.
- What if a pack arrives damaged?
- See our returns and refunds policy for the current terms.
- Can I order a single pack, or do I need a full carton?
- This page is priced and sold per pack of 20 sticks, with no minimum order. For a full carton of 10 packs, message us on WhatsApp.
- Does the price change between order and delivery?
- No. The price shown at checkout is what you pay, nothing is added once the rider arrives.
- What fruit is in Purple Wave?
- Dark forest fruit, closest to blackberry and blackcurrant. Not a bright or red berry profile.
