IQOS TEREA Zing Wave Uzbekistan

Zing Wave is citrus-led menthol with a sharp lift, the coldest and brightest stick in the Uzbek range. The Uzbek range is among the lowest-priced we carry.

Sharp and dry

Citrus over firm menthol, finishing clean with no sweetness. It is the Uzbek answer to the same idea Kyrgyz stock covers with Green Zing, and it behaves much the same way.

Against Kyrgyz Green Zing

Green Zing is the closest match and costs 135 against 125 here. Very little separates them in the draw.

Within Uzbek stock, Turquoise is warmer and Yellow drops the menthol.

Who this suits

Menthol smokers who want maximum cooling with citrus rather than fruit, at the lowest price in the range.

Device compatibility

On a blade IQOS? TEREA Zing Wave Uzbekistan is the wrong stick, and HEETS is what you want instead. The ILUMA i One is the cheapest way across if you would rather switch.

Using it, start to finish

Insert one stick into the ILUMA holder, wait for the ready signal, then draw. A session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first. Pacing the draw is what gets the full session out of it.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• The cheapest sharp, cold menthol we carry at 125 AED
• The citrus lift keeps it from tasting like a flat, plain menthol
• Finishes clean with no sweetness lingering, unlike a fruit-menthol stick
• Behaves consistently the same way every session, with nothing to crush or manage

Cons:

• Nearly identical to Kyrgyz Green Zing, so paying 135 there buys little extra
• Not the pick if you want zero citrus edge, Purple Wave here is the plain menthol option
• The sharpness that makes it distinctive also makes it a poor choice for anyone who dislikes citrus notes generally

Storage and freshness

Keep packs out of direct heat and sunlight, same as any TEREA stick. The flavour holds fine at room temperature but degrades faster in a hot car or on a windowsill. A sealed pack easily outlasts the time it takes to work through it.
