IQOS TEREA Green Zing Kyrgyzstan

Green Zing is citrus-led menthol with a sharp, zesty lift, and the coldest stick in the Kyrgyz range. It costs noticeably less than comparable Japanese stock.

Sharp, in a useful way

Lime-leaning citrus over firm menthol, finishing clean and dry. Nothing sweet about it, which is what separates a zesty stick from a fruity one.

It works particularly well in heat, and it is the Kyrgyz stick most likely to convert someone who thought all menthols tasted the same.

Where it sits

Turquoise is the warmer, tobacco-forward menthol. Purple Wave goes berry and sweeter. Green Zing is the sharpest of the three.

Japan's Yellow Menthol is the nearest equivalent from another market and costs considerably more.

Device compatibility

Works across ILUMA, ILUMA i Standard, i One and i Prime, plus the Lambda i8. Does not work with the IQOS 3 DUO or anything earlier.

Using it, start to finish

Insert one stick into the ILUMA holder, wait for the ready signal, then draw. A session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs, whichever comes first. Pacing the draw is what gets the full session out of it.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• The coldest, sharpest stick in the whole Kyrgyz range
• Genuinely dry and zesty rather than sweet, no sugar to it at all

Cons:

• Not for you if sweetness or fruit-forward flavour is the goal, Purple Wave is the better fit for that

Storage and freshness

Keep packs out of direct heat and sunlight, same as any TEREA stick. The flavour holds fine at room temperature but degrades faster in a hot car or on a windowsill. A sealed pack easily outlasts the time it takes to work through it.
