The Kyrgyz Sun Pearl is melon-led fruit behind a cooling click capsule. Crush it when you want the cold; leave it and you have a light fruit stick.

Melon, and a switch

Uncrushed the stick is mild and softly sweet, melon rather than citrus. Crushing the capsule brings a clean cooling forward without flattening the fruit underneath.

Crushing halfway is the trick worth knowing: seven puffs of one stick, seven of another.

Not the same as the Japanese Sun Pearl

Japan's Sun Pearl goes herbal with a faint floral note. This one goes melon. Same name, different stick, and the Kyrgyz version costs 135 against 210. Provence Pearl is the other capsule variant here, aromatic rather than fruity.

Built for induction heating. Terea Sun Pearl Kyrgyzstan slots into ILUMA and ILUMA i holders and does nothing at all in a blade device. Why that is.

Using it, start to finish

Insert one stick, wait for the ready signal, then draw. A session runs about six minutes or fourteen puffs. Crush the capsule whenever the second flavour should arrive. Early for cooling from the start, or partway through to get both halves of the stick out of one draw.

Pros and cons

Pros:

Cons:

Storage and freshness

Keep packs out of direct heat and sunlight, same as any TEREA stick. The flavour holds fine at room temperature but degrades faster in a hot car or on a windowsill. A sealed pack easily outlasts the time it takes to work through it.
