LAMBDA CC Red for HEETS

Red is the most visible Lambda CC in the range, and at 106.5 × 29.5 × 21.5 mm and 73 grams it is compact enough that the colour does most of the work of standing out. 199 AED, blade-heated, HEETS only.

Size and handling

Slim enough for a shirt pocket, and light at 73 grams. The 3200 mAh battery inside is the same across every Lambda CC colour, good for 35 to 40 sessions before it needs the Type-C cable for roughly two and a half hours.

Temperature adjusts from 200°C to 300°C and session length from three to six minutes, so the strength of a HEETS stick is genuinely in your hands rather than fixed by the manufacturer.

Red or something quieter

If a bright finish is not what you want, Black or Grey carry the same device without drawing attention. Gold is the other statement colour.

Smoking TEREA rather than HEETS puts you in the wrong category entirely; see the Lambda i8 instead.

Choosing between the six finishes

Red, Army Green, Black, Grey, White and Gold all run the same 3200 mAh battery, the same titanium steel blade, the same OLED HD display, and the same 200°C to 300°C, three-to-six-minute adjustable range. None of that changes with colour. The only real question is which finish you'd rather carry.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• The most visible finish in the range, compact enough that colour alone does most of the standing out
• Adjustable temperature and session length, so stick strength is in your hands rather than fixed
• Same OLED HD display and 3200 mAh battery as the rest of the line-up

Cons:

• Takes HEETS and other blade-type sticks only, TEREA needs the Lambda i8 instead
• A brighter finish shows scuffs sooner than the darker colours
