Minara limited edition standard

Minara on the ILUMA i Standard body: a limited holder-and-charger finish at 410 AED, above the standard i Standard price range.

Two-piece format, limited finish

Holder and pocket charger, bladeless induction, USB-C charging. The premium over the standard i Standard colours reflects the scarcity of the Minara finish rather than any specification difference.

Why bladeless heating matters

SMARTCORE technology heats the tobacco plug by induction instead of a blade making contact with it. Nothing pierces the stick, so there's no blade to clean, align or replace, and no risk of a burnt aftertaste from a blade sitting slightly off-centre, the failure mode that made cleaning sticks a daily habit on earlier IQOS generations. That's also why every ILUMA device, including this one, ships with nothing to clean beyond wiping the holder itself.

Minara Standard or Minara One

A separate Minara edition exists on the all-in-one i One body at 240 AED. This is the two-piece version, which suits longer days out the way any i Standard does over an i One, since the holder can go back into a charged pocket charger between sessions instead of needing a wall outlet.

The wider ILUMA range

This edition sits inside a larger ILUMA lineup, split mainly between all-in-one devices and holder-plus-charger sets:

• ILUMA i One (all-in-one, nothing separate to charge): 150 AED across the five standard colours, 300 AED for the Remix or Neon limited editions.
• ILUMA i Standard (holder plus pocket charger): 250-270 AED across the five standard colours, 490 AED for the Remix limited edition.
• ILUMA i Prime (adds a touch screen and Pause Mode): 350 AED across the four standard colours.
• ILUMA Prime Kit, a separate colourway line on the Prime body: 400 AED across Bronze Taupe, Jade Green, Golden Khaki and Obsidian Black.
• Original ILUMA kit, the previous-generation body, still sold alongside the i-series: 284-298 AED in its standard colours, 370-583 AED across its own limited editions.
• Prime-tier limited editions, this product's own family: 520-870 AED depending on the finish and run.

The price differences across this list come from the body generation and the scarcity of a specific finish, not from a difference in tobacco-heating technology, every device on it runs the same SMARTCORE induction system.

Who this suits

Anyone who wants this specific finish and also prefers the i Standard's pocket-charger format for a long day away from an outlet.

Standard body versus all-in-one

The i Standard's two-piece format means the holder itself stays smaller in the hand between puffs, with the battery living separately in a pocket charger. A trade-off some buyers prefer over the i One's single bulkier body, independent of which finish is on it.

Before the first session

Charge it fully before the first use, the way any new ILUMA device needs an initial full charge. After that, a USB-C top-up works with any standard charger and cable, there's no proprietary connector to track down if the original cable ever goes missing.

In the box

Holder, pocket charger and a USB-C cable. No cleaning sticks needed, since induction heating leaves nothing to scrape.
