Description
The HQD Cuvie Slick is the thin one, shaped closer to a pen than a box. Up to 6,000 puffs, rechargeable, with a CNC mesh coil. 50 AED.
Form factor over capacity
Most disposables have grown into chunky rectangles because that is where the battery and liquid fit. The Slick goes the other way. You get less capacity than a 40K device, and in exchange you get something that disappears in a shirt pocket rather than bulging in it.
Whether that is worth it depends entirely on how you carry things. For a lot of people in Dubai it genuinely is.
The coil
CNC mesh, which is what keeps flavour steady deeper into the tank than a simpler coil manages. It is the main thing separating this from cheaper devices at similar puff counts.
Who picks the slim shape over a bigger device
Mostly people who already know they don't want to carry something bulky, regardless of how much capacity it costs them. If a vape living loose in a pocket or a small bag matters more to you than squeezing out every possible puff, this is the shape built around that priority rather than around maximum puff count.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Genuinely slim, a pen-style shape that disappears in a shirt pocket rather than bulging in it
- CNC mesh coil keeps flavour steadier deeper into the tank than a simpler coil
- Rechargeable over USB-C rather than a throwaway device
Cons:
- Less capacity than the larger devices we stock, so it suits occasional rather than daily use
- The slim body means a smaller battery than the boxier alternatives at the same puff count

Frequently asked questions
Yes. At 6,000 puffs the liquid outlasts a single battery charge, so it charges rather than being thrown away when the battery dies.
Same puff count. The Slick is much slimmer; the Fumo King has a wider flavour range and adjustable airflow.

For anyone who carries a vape in a shirt or trouser pocket rather than a bag, most people say yes. It's a genuine size-versus-capacity trade, not a downgrade dressed up as a feature.
It's a real difference. A simpler coil tends to burn slightly and taste flatter as the tank empties; CNC mesh spreads heat more evenly across the coil, which is why flavour holds up better toward the last puffs.
